Our Manager in Training Program

If your department is willing to hire a MIT and can support the position from a budget and management standpoint, you can host one! Check with your leader to get approval for the position and connect with your Talent Acquisition partner to begin the process. Hiring begins in February each year, as the program will run from June through the following May.

MIT are all salaried and pay varies by resort and department however there are ranges which we encourage you to stay within depending on the role. Contact your Talent Acquisition partner for the standard ranges. If you feel you need to adjust the ranges to stay competitive or be fairer compared to what current team members are making, please reach out so we can discuss your options with our compensation team.

No, housing is not offered for this program.

MITs are required to attend monthly Academy Classes. These are offered once a month from 230-4pm EST.

Each MIT is encouraged to take classes on myAcademy during their program. These can be virtual, in-person or self paced.

MIT’s will spend 5 months in the front of house & 5 months in the back of house, working in areas such as front desk, activities, retail, food & beverage, security, engineering/maintenance & housekeeping.

The MITs are at the assistant manager level, their mentor will assist with assigning responsibilities, such as creating team members schedules, budgets and more

Mentors are assigned by the resorts GM.

Upon successful completion of the program MITs will be offered a statuses assistant manager position at ANY of our resorts.

If your resort has an opening and you would like to be considered for that position, please work with your mentor to see if that would be possible.

MITs are asked if they are willing to relocate to ANY of our resorts at the conclusion of the program. They are not guaranteed to have to, it will depend upon the needs at the end of the program.
