Kumar Rajnish

Chief Strategy Officer

Kumar Rajnish is the Chief Strategy Officer for Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated, where he oversees corporate strategy and business transformation for the company.

With over 25 years of industry experience in corporate strategy, business development, mergers and acquisitions, sales and marketing, financial analysis and operations, Kumar has a proven track record of developing and leading high-performance teams, introducing companies to new markets and driving revenue growth and operational excellence. Prior to joining Holiday Inn Club Vacations in 2022, Kumar was the Chief Strategy Officer for Kaplan North America, where he oversaw the company’s corporate strategy, its entry into a new business segment involving partnerships with universities across the country, sales enablement, analytics, and operational effectiveness. Previously, Kumar has served as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, along with finance, strategy, and sales roles with FedEx Express and IBM.

Kumar has received several awards for his leadership and analytical expertise, which includes being a three-time recipient of the prestigious Five Star Award from FedEx Express. Kumar earned an M.B.A. in Strategy and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.B. A. in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, a Master of Science degree in Corporate and Mathematical Finance from the University of Amsterdam and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi.

In his free time, Kumar enjoys biking with his kids, cooking with his family and listening to podcasts on long walks.
