As Senior Vice President of Resort Operations for Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated, Thad Gregory leads the internal teams and external partners that operate the Company’s resorts and on-property amenities. His responsibilities include all operating disciplines such as front-of-house operations, back-of-house operations, housekeeping, food and beverage, and retail. Additionally, Thad oversees the resort Homeowners Associations.
An industry veteran, Thad has more than 30 years of experience serving in leadership roles across nearly all aspects of the hospitality and vacation ownership space. Prior to joining the Company in 2021, Thad served as Senior Vice President of Resort Operations, North America, Hawaii and Caribbean for Diamond Resorts (now part of Hilton Grand Vacations). In this role, he oversaw 57 different resorts and approximately 3,000 employees.
Thad earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Marketing from Loras College. He served on over 40 Homeowner Association Boards and was part of the Disaster Recovery Commission for Hilton Head Island, which created the Hurricane Disaster Recovery Plan for the town.
With a passion for the team members he works with and the children in the community, Thad is active in donating his time and helped create funding programs for nonprofit organizations, such as The Diamond Resorts Foundation and The Children’s Miracle Network. He also previously coached youth sports teams.
Thad spends his free time relaxing with his family, traveling to lake or beach destinations, attending college sporting events and accompanying his son to travel baseball tournaments.
